Job Description


The position reports directly to the Team Lead: Customer Service, where you will be responsible for the end to end administration of rejected claims, authorisation letters, and confirmation letters and policy wordings. Your duties will also include the analysing of service history, failure reports, repair quotes and assessment reports, in order to confirm that the claim has been correctly administrated as per the terms and conditions of our client’s policy wording. In addition your attention to detail, high level of accuracy, team work and professional approach on all claims, dealer and customer interaction is regarded as vital in achieving and maintaining our level of customer service. 

Role Outputs:

Drafting of rejection letters; late service; convert to service plans; assessors release and others assigned.

Contacting clients telephonically to explain in detail the reason for a claim rejection.

Uploading business critical information pertaining to each action and making the relevant notes accordingly.

Assisting clients and dealers with confirmation letters, authorisation letters and policy wording.

Confirm policy wording used is correct.

Maintaining turnaround times and service levels,

Scrutinizing of failure reports, repair quotes and assessment reports.

Ensuring that all outstanding rejection letter requests have been followed up.

Rejection letter processing and finalization.

Effective professional handling of queries, both internal and external.

Liaison with Clients, Policy Holders, General Public, Corporate Clients & Internal Staff.

Meeting set deadlines

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

? Matric, Technical Matric or the equivalent

? Business Administration course will be an advantage

? Fully Computer Literate

? Minimum 2 years administration experience a must

Knowledge/exposure to policy wording.

? Knowledge/exposure to insurance and/or claims environment advantageous.
